Tynegrain benefits from it's deep water export berth on Tyne Dock. Built in 1983 we now dry up to 80,000 tonnes of oilseed rape and cereals per annum. Our export facility despatches, on average, 200,000 tonnes of products to countries world-wide every year.
Tynegrain provides Northern cereal growers direct farmer controlled export access to European and International markets through the 100,000 MT capacity silo.
Deep water vessels of up to 66,000 MT can be competitively loaded at our silo with sales achieved to a wide range of destinations including Algeria, China, Cyprus, Italy, Israel, Korea, Morocco, Russia, Spain, Saudi Arabia and Tunisia.`

The group has access to 200,000mt of Grain, Oilseed and Pulse storage managed through its subsidary GrainCo Ltd as well as port-side rented storage. This gives members unprecedented access to strategic placement of grain to optimise marketing options. Tynegrain provides a comprehensive haulage service ensuring harvest movement from farm to store is efficient and proficient.

Tynegrain Ltd is a member owned agricultural storage cooperative established 1987. Members rent space in the company and own a share in the company.

GrainCo Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tynegrain Ltd and markets 1 million tonnes of grain, oilseeds and pulses every year. It procures products from Hull to Aberdeen and utilising its own stores and port stores throughout the North East of England and Scotland ensures that grain is stored strategically to take advantage of market conditions.

We offer a wide range of marketing and grain trading opportunities, from unbiased independent marketing advice to pool marketing and financial support.

We supply all the major consumers throughout the North of England and Scotland with many long term supply agreements in place.
